As happyfans.co.uk is a marketplace to sell both electronic and physical items, all items that are prohibited or require special handling are listed below.

  • Advertisements/listings must not contain any illegal material.
  • Listings must conform to all applicable laws.
  • No homemade alcohols to be sold.
  • Items must be factory sealed and not modified in any way.
  • All buyers and sellers to provide proof of age.
  • No live animals to be sold.
  • No endangered or threatened species ivory, bones or similar including taxidermy to be sold.
  • Items that cause harm to animals or trap animals are strictly prohibited and must not be sold.
  • Proof of authenticity is required for all listings.
  • Listings must not contain any illegal material.
  • Beta software must not be sold including keys, cards and access codes.
  • OEM (original equipment manufacturer) software can only be sold with the original hardware and must not be sold separately.
  • Proof of authenticity is required for all listings, items must be accurately described.
  • Replica or fake bullion must not be sold unless accurately described and listed as 'Replica item'.
  • Listings that offer an opportunity to win something are prohibited including:
    • Lotteries (including lottery tickets and scratchcards etc.)
    • Raffles
    • Contests
    • Mystery boxes
  • Proof of authenticity is required for all listings.
  • The following listings are prohibited:
    • Used perfumes, cosmetics and applicators.
    • Cosmetics and perfumes that have been modified or transferred into another container (items not in the original packaging).
    • Counterfeit cosmetics and perfumes.
    • Skin-bleaching and hazardous products.
  • All counterfeit item listings are strictly prohibited.
  • All credit and debit card listings are strictly prohibited.
  • Listings that infringe on intellectual property/copyright are strictly prohibited. Including imitating prints, patterns, logos, artwork etc.
  • Listings that portray, glorify, or attempt to profit from human tragedy or suffering, or that are insensitive to victims of such events, are strictly prohibited.
  • All listings must operate safely or be clearly described if in need of repair.
  • Items from embargoed/sanctioned countries cannot be sold.
  • Products that bypass, defeat or render inoperative emission-control systems are not allowed, either on their own or when combined with other hardware or software.
  • Encouraging or enabling illegal activity is not allowed.
  • Event tickets sales must follow all applicable government laws.
  • All fertilizer and pesticide listings are currently prohibited.
  • All firearm, ammunition and firearm accessory listings are strictly prohibited.
  • Food and drink listings must be safe, fit for consumption and not expired at the time of delivery to customers.
  • No homemade food or drink to be sold.
  • Items must be factory sealed and not modified in any way.
  • When listing food items, sellers must:
    • Ensure food items are properly packaged and stored safely.
    • Clearly state the expiration date in the item description.
    • State how perishable items will be delivered and ensure they are delivered to the buyer before the expiration date.
  • Listings must conform to all applicable food, drink and hygiene laws.
  • Used funeral items such as headstones, markers or urns are strictly prohibited.
  • All gift card listings must be legally transferable with authenticity provided.
  • All gift card listings are capped at £500.
  • The following or similar items are not allowed:
    • Government, private transit, or shipping company uniforms and accessories such as hats, pins and scarves.
    • Vintage or collectible uniforms and accessories may be listed if they meet all of the following requirements:
      • The item is 10 years old or older.
      • It's no longer in use.
      • It doesn't look like a current uniform or accessory.
    • Government, transit or shipping company property such as vehicles, license plates, keys for vehicles, mail bags, company decals and transit documents.
    • Fake documents, government-issued documents or official certificates or diplomas.
    • Postage meters, voting machines, any government sensitive or confidential information/items.
    • Government-issued IDs, passports, birth certificates or license plates.
    • Collectible license plates are allowed as long as they are expired and at least 3 years old or as allowed by law.
    • Government-issued medals and certificates for medals.
    • Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) plates or rivets.
    • Signs or other items indicating use by a rideshare driver or delivery person.
  • Hazardous materials such as carcinogens, combustibles, explosive precursors, ozone-depleting chemicals, poisons, radioactive materials and items that contain or release such substances are prohibited.
  • Human body parts or items containing body parts are strictly prohibited.
  • Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia listings are strictly prohibited.
  • Illegal content is strictly prohibited this includes but is not limited to; child pornography, torture, snuff films and bestiality.
  • Listings must conform to all applicable laws including privacy, copyright, intellectual property, when selling all information and media resources such as; data, eBooks, templates, images/video, NFT, screensavers and any other type of printed information or electronic file.
  • Intangible items or anything that a buyer can't confirm that they've received are strictly prohibited.
  • Please ensure all products sold internationally are legal in the buyer's country/delivery address.
  • Fake or genuine ID, passports, degrees/qualifications etc. listings are strictly prohibited.
  • All listings must be accurately and thoroughly described including precious metals, gem stones, fashion jewellery and accessories etc.
  • Plated, impure, hybrid or alloy metals must be clearly described in the listing title.
  • Platinum, gold and silver items must meet applicable laws for stamping:
    • Gold stamps: 10k, 14k, 18k, 22k, 24k
    • Silver stamps: Sterling Silver, .925, .999
    • Platinum stamps: Plat, Pt, 950Plat, 900Pt
  • All unknown metals and gemstones should be listed as Fashion Jewellery and the seller should not make any claims that are not verified.
  • Listings including gem stones should identify place of origin, creation method and item specifics including but not limited to; grade, size, cut, carat etc.
  • No unethical jewellery items are to be sold this includes blood diamonds, ivory, bone etc.
  • Jewellery sellers must provide excellent customer service including the following factors:
    • Describe items accurately and use clear photos to display the item
    • Describe all flaws/defects and show them in listing photos
    • Be clear about the location your item will ship from or where returns will be processed
    • Ship items on time
    • Cancel orders and refund buyers with appropriate reasons
    • Ensure accurate sizes for rings, chains, necklaces, bracelets, diamonds and other jewels
  • The sale of the following knives and swords is strictly prohibited:
    • Automatic knives, Butterfly knives, Dual-action knives, Gravity knives, Out-the-front knives, Paratrooper knives, Push knives, Switchblade knives, Zombie knives, machetes or similar
    • Illegal swords, sword canes
    • Spring-assisted knives and swords where there is no manual movement by a thumb stud or screw clearly visible on the blade
    • Hidden or disguised knives and swords
  • No live animals to be sold.
  • Lockpicking or locksmithing device sales are prohibited.
  • Medical devices that require a prescription cannot be sold.
  • Medical equipment that could be abused for unlawful means is also not permitted.
  • No illegal military items to be sold including but not limited to; explosives, military ordinance, weapons and ammunition, military vehicles and parts, military issued body armour and helmets, technical specifications for military items.
  • Listings or content that promote, perpetuate or glorify hatred, violence, or discrimination, including on the grounds of race, ethnicity, colour, religion, disability, national origin, sex, gender or sexual orientation are prohibited.
  • The following listings are prohibited:
    • Personal contact information including phone numbers, addresses and email addresses
    • National insurance numbers or similar
    • Accounts that require users to send passwords (for example, to sell access to the next level of social media games)
    • Social media items including accounts, likes, followers or subscribers
    • Software or tools used to send unsolicited contacts, such as text messages or email (spam), or to harvest contact details and data
  • Pill presses, counterfeit dies and tableting or encapsulating machines are prohibited.
  • Plants or seeds prohibited by government or shipping regulations are not allowed.
  • To prevent impersonation, certain police and emergency service related items are prohibited. This includes uniforms, equipment and accessories.
  • Prescription drugs or products containing prescription-strength medication are prohibited including dental and veterinary drugs.
  • Over-the-counter medication containing non-prescription-strength drugs must:
    • Clearly state the concentration of the prescription drug in the item description
    • Not be expired prior to reaching the buyer and clearly state the expiration in the description
    • Be in new, unused condition and in the original, unopened and undamaged packaging
  • All listings must be described accurately.
  • Tainted supplements are prohibited.
  • Vitamins and supplements must be in new, unused condition and in the original, unopened and undamaged packaging. They must not be expired, with the expiration date clear in the item listing.
  • Injectable substances, including vitamins and regardless of whether they're available over the counter, are prohibited.
  • Listing everyday/essential items at highly inflated prices is prohibited.
  • Products that pose a health or safety hazard are strictly prohibited including banned, recalled or dangerous items.
  • The products listed below may require additional pre-approval requirements, including but not limited to: a. Documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements, b. Registration as a business that is located domestically, c. Shipment of items domestically, d. Use of age verification of the buyer and/or recipient of the shipment
    • Baby foods and formula
    • Baby products including toys and cribs etc.
    • PPE and safety equipment such as helmets and harnesses
    • Airbags, car seats and similar safety devices
    • Trading card case breaks, box breaks and pack breaks
    • Food and drink
    • Alcohol
    • Industrial and domestic chemicals
    • Refurbished products
    • NFTs
    • Items when used or consumed could cause harm
  • The following or similar adult items are prohibited:
    • Services for in-person sexual or adult activity
    • Sex toys simulating sex with animals or minors
    • Amateur or hidden camera content or similar, unless all persons were consenting and compensated for their performances
    • Illegal pornography of any kind including revenge pornography
    • Memberships for adults only physical clubs/establishments
  • Listings that include images or descriptions of minors (anyone under the age of 18) in a compromising/explicit way, even when the listing is not intended to be sexual in nature is strictly prohibited.
  • HappyFans strictly prohibits listings with the following or similar items or descriptions:
    • Images/videos of minors who are not fully clothed
    • Images of minors where the item description is based on their clothing
    • Modelling photos of minors, even when the subject is fully clothed
    • Listings that include the words "child", "children", "young girls" or "young boys" to describe an item containing nudity or sexual situations, even when the subject or performers are at least 18 years old, or the words are part of the product title
    • Listings that include the words "teen", "teens", "teenager" or "Lolita" in a sexual context, without indicating that the subject or performers are at least 18 years old
    • Listings for minor anime, such as Shota-con, Lolicon and similar or related items
  • Listings for real estate are not a binding offer to sell the property shown due to a wide variety of laws governing the sale of real estate.
  • Money must be refunded in full if the sale is cancelled for any reason.
  • Listings for replica coins, counterfeit currency, stamps, legal tender and any equipment used to make the above is prohibited.
  • Replica firearms, toy and prop guns must have a blaze orange barrel plug permanently attached.
  • Replica firearms, parts and accessories are prohibited if they can be attached/used on real weapons or modified for real use.
  • Artwork listings created by you or by others are allowed on the basis the artwork does not infringe any copyrights, design rights or trademark rights.
  • The artwork if advertised as original must have proof of authenticity.
  • No illegal content/art is allowed.
  • Listing of the following services is prohibited:
    • Sexual contact or escort services
    • Offer to become "friends" or "followers" on social media sites
    • Website traffic-driving services
    • Get rich quick schemes, fraudulent courses/advice, Ponzi schemes or similar
  • Slot machines can only be listed where it is legal for them to be owned by both the seller and buyer and must be legal in the buyer's country/delivery address. Unless they are non-functional.
  • Listings for product reviews, social media likes, followers and similar are prohibited.
  • Counterfeit stamps and equipment designed to manufacture such items are prohibited
  • Collectible stamps must include proof of authenticity, a picture of the item for sale and specify any alterations or defects
  • For replica stamps, the listing's title, description and photos must clearly state or show that the item is a replica
  • Listings for stocks and securities are prohibited currently.
  • The sale of stolen property is strictly prohibited.
  • E-cigarettes/vapes and their accessories or items containing tobacco are prohibited.
  • The following products may be sold:
    • Collectible/vintage packages
    • Nicotine patches, nicotine gum
    • Herbal pouches that display ingredients and do not contain nicotine or tobacco
    • Tobacco seeds
  • Several travel services, including flights and hotel, spa and resort stays, can be listed. The type of travel service a seller can list depends on if they are a travel provider, a licensed travel agent or an individual who's listing their own lodging.
  • Resale of travel-related items such as memberships, awards, coupons, upgrades etc. that are subject to cancelation by the travel provider if resold are prohibited.
  • All travel listings must be accurately and thoroughly defined.
  • All relevant taxes must be paid.
  • Only adult (18+) clothing can be listed.
  • The following listings are not allowed:
    • Leased vehicles or offers to lease vehicles
    • Deployed, recalled or rebuilt airbags and airbag covers
    • Deployed, recalled or rebuilt seatbelts and similar safety items
    • Vehicle titles cannot be included when offering parts only
    • Emissions defeat devices/software or similar fraudulent items
    • Dangerous, illegal or defective items
    • If items do not work but can be repaired, these must be clearly listed as defective
  • Listings that promote or glorify violence, discrimination, abuse or violent acts, or are associated with individuals who are notorious for committing violent/illegal acts, or have been used in violent acts or are part of crime scenes/evidence are strictly prohibited.
  • This includes but is not limited to; images, video, physical items, body parts, memorabilia, uniforms, art, books, weapons etc.
  • All illegal weapons/devices/substances are strictly prohibited.
